[S6E6] Get A Clue

When The Flash showrunner Eric Wallace announced that Season 6 would change the format of the show, splitting it up into two separate parts, we figured it would be a fun way to reinvigorate the aging show. What we didn't expect is to find that the first half of the season would turn into an Easter egg hunt for massive clues that would become relevant in part two.

[S6E6] Get a Clue

At the LAPD, Amenadiel is stopped by Harris, whom he explains to that he's heading to see the lieutenant.. Amenadiel reveals that Michaela is a witness and the previous owner of the apartment was a bad dude name Sam Ravinski. He's quickly put together that someone busted into Kevin's home looking for Sam, but killed Kevin by mistake; the perp likely didn't have a clue what Sam looked like. Amenadiel explains that Michaela is out there in need of their help. When Harris pushes for him to stop, Amenadiel reveals Chloe told him that she refused promotion. Harris explains that Chloe didn't have a problem with getting detective because she's the daughter of a cop and white; the highest ups wanted to get rid of her for catching their racist lies. To make matters worse the lieutenant is in Reiben's corner, despite all the complaints of racism.

At The Empire, Nate is meeting with Bruce, along with some girls and champagne. He asks about hiding confidential information, and Bruce replies that hiding confidential information is his speciality. He tells Nate to send him his books for a recommendation and leaves with the girls. Chuck comes out of his room and demands to know why he let him leave. Nate reveals he stole his phone because Bruce wasn't going to give answers easily. At the Waldorf's, Eleanor and Blair arrive and Eleanor says she'll admit Blair took steps to rebuilding the brand but still has a long way to go. She reveals that Nelly is waiting for Blair to have a light lunch with so they can make amends. Back at The Empire, Nate has gotten into Bruce's phone and he and Chuck are hunting for any links to Bart. Chuck suggests looking at the calendar the day he dropped the envelope off, and they discover an event titled "Bass, Traffic". Meanwhile, Ivy and Rufus arrive at the location of Lily's charity event. Ivy offers to buy all the artwork being auctioned and when the PR man, Benedict Tate, accepts, she asks if they can cancel the party. He says that it's too late to cancel, and Rufus jumps in that he has an idea that might raise even more money. At the same bar they went to on their first date, Dan and Serena are playing pool. Dan is impressed with the way Serena plays, and she admits she could always play. A Gossip Girl blast comes in telling where they are. Dan suggests he leave out front and distract the paparazzi while she goes out the back and gets a cab. Serena sulkily agrees, and Dan admits that the day they spent together was nice. At The Empire, Nate and Chuck are trying to decipher the Traffic clue. While going through the phone, Chuck finds a list of movies, including Traffic. Chuck remembers that in the movie, the head of the drug cartel hid the records of his trades in the back of a painting. Nate agrees to head over to the VDW's and start looking at the backs of the paintings.

The team member assigned to perform this Roadblock would be strapped into a device known as a hot rocket bungee, which would launch them directly from the ground 200 feet into the air. After the ride, teams would receive their next clue.

Choice B: Cannonball RunTeams must push a cannon up a hill to Eger Castle's courtyard, then carry and stack 55 4-pound cannonballs into a pyramid next to the cannon to receive their next clue.

When the neighbors last saw the individual or observed a change in his habits. Thus, if he typically went for a walk every evening and suddenly is no longer seen, then one might conclude that death occurred on or about the day he failed to take his walk (DiMaio & DiMaio, 2001). Different clues from a scene also must not be overlooked: Was food being prepared? Was a major appliance on? Were there indicators as to a decedent's activities just prior to or at the time of death? A forensic medicine expert may use the answers to such questions to arrive at an estimation of the time of death (Dix et al., 1999).

Regarding the death scene, with poisoning multiple locations may have come into play during the planning and execution of the murder. Each location can yield important clues that must be included in the complete case investigation. Some of the locations and the items to look for to yield clues are as follows:

If the investigator is very observant, knows what to look for, and is particularly careful in talking with the caregiver, he/she may pick up some clues that will help determine the specific cause of asphyxia or suffocation and determine whether the manner of death was accidental or intentionally inflicted. A thorough death scene investigation can help answer questions about environmental factors that may have interfered with breathing (e.g., covering of the nose and mouth) or hazards related to aspiration, choking, electrocution, excessive heat or cold, and other external factors. 041b061a72
